Success Tips
Tips when creating a video resume with uBoast
- Understand the prospective employer and concisely explain your skills and accomplishments as they relate to the position.
- Be compelling and hook the employers attention right out of the gate. (Employers make critical judgments in a matter of seconds).
- One minute time goal to keep it concise and to the point. (Employers do not have time to go through an inbox of 100 video resumes.)
- Avoid ums and ahs and any pauses in your speaking.
- Sell yourself: Dress in business attire and sell your best qualities while make it known that you want that job.
- Tell why you would be successful working in a team (or for that company) and explain what motivates you.
Sample interview questions
- In 60 seconds or less, take a look at your resume and tell me why you left each position and went to the next.
- Why are you looking for a new position now?
